Background
Detoured NOT Defeated was born from a journey of resilience, faith and transformation. Inspired by overcoming personal challenges as a young single mother, the organization is dedicated to empowering young single mothers and ladies ages 16-24 to rise above adversity, embrace their potential, and build fulfilling lives. Through mentorship, resources, and encouragement, we strive to uplift and inspire the next generation to thrive despite life’s detours.

Our approach focuses on helping young single mothers and ladies ages 16-24 build self-awareness, clarify their values and aspirations, and take actionable steps toward achieving their goals.
